Meet Mrs. Darnell

Hello, I'm Mrs. Darnell and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! This will be my 7th year teaching and I am so excited to be joining the Harvey family. My passion for teaching started when I was 16 years old. I graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and after 7 years as a stay at home mom I was able to start my dream job as a teacher. I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.

My top priority as your child's teacher is to create a safe environment where students can be themselves, ask questions, make memories, and reach their fullest potential. I can't wait to meet all of you and work together to make this an incredible year!
